Baby Stella - Wollongong and Camden Newborn Photographer

Earlier in the year I travelled to Camden, NSW to capture this beautiful family and the newborn baby girl Stella.

Walking in I was greeted by their little pug, who was just the most adorable little thing and was very interested and protective of his new baby sister as Dad feed his baby girl and just stared at her, still pinching himself that this was his little girl.

Stella’s mummy has done a beautiful nursery for her, which we were sure to get some pictures in and then we took to the bedroom for some snuggly shots, where they got to just be in their newborn bubble and breath all that newborn goodness in.

This is why I love lifestyle photography for newborn and family sessions. It’s relaxed, fun, full of connection and so not awkward. Thanks to this beautiful family for welcoming me into your little newborn bubble to capture this special time for you all.

The James Family - Wollongong Family Photographer

I am so blown away that families trust me time and time again to capture their little family. It is such an honour and it’s hard to believe that doing something that brings me so much joy and happiness also brings others the same. The awesome James family trusted me for their family memories for that last 6 years. Wow, 6 years where does the time go! I cannot thank them enough for their support and trust. Their little dudes are just the best little characters and have me in stitches everytime. So, Thank you James family and to all the families that support, encourage and inspire me to do what I do. I cannot thank you enough.

A new chapter - Wollongong Newborn Photographer

I am still blown away and completely honoured that families welcoming me into their homes and share part of their lives with me. Welcoming a child into your family is such a amazing moment and one that should be captured and preserved, after all it is a chapter in your story. The lovely D family welcomed me into their gorgeous home for their newborn session here in Shellharbour. We chatted about life and our stories so far. It was like friends catching up for the first time in a long time. It was wonderful to hear about their travels around Australia and getting all the hints and tips for when we go caravanning. Here is a selection of my favourite images from the session.

The "B" Family - Wollongong Family Photographer

What can I say, I am one incredibly lucky person to be able to have a job that I absolutely love and be a newborn and family and photographer that my clients continue to return to. These guys I now am proud to call my friends.

I have watched their first born Airlie grow and become a big sister, I have captured Ally's pregnancy with Betty, her newborn and 6 month photos and now her 1 year images, plus a couple of extended family sessions. To be honest, words cannot describe what this type of loyalty means to me and I am SO thankful for it and even more thankful that I get to make amazing friendships with my clients. 

The Bates family are so easy going and relaxed and we always have loads of laughs when we are together. We once again headed to "The Farm" at Killalea State Park, which is where they love to spend their time. We played, danced, sang, picked flowers and tickled our way through the late afternoon. When Airlie was a baby, we captured an image with them on the tailgate for the car they purchased on their honeymoon in Queensland and restored. At this session, we updated that image to include Betty. 

Thank you to the Bates family for allowing me to once again capture your gorgeous family. I am so thankful to call you my friends.

The 'F' Family - Wollongong and Southern Highlands Family Photographer

No matter where your family are in the world, they will always be family and it is important to capture moments together. 

That is exactly what the 'F' family did when their parents visited Wollongong for Christmas all the way from the UK. 

When Anna contacted me about capturing some speical moments for them while her parents in law were here from the UK I was super excited, even more so when they wanted to include their puppy in the session. Choosing a location was easy and I learnt why at our session. Anna requested Fisherman's Beach at Port Kembla, a secluded little cove just below Hill 60. I grew up in Wollongong and never knew it existed! At the session they explained the importance of this beach, when they were first in Australia looking for their new home, her husband and father in law discovered this little gem of a spot and did some fishing here, that was 4 years go and the last time they were together in Australia. 

We had loads of fun playing, running around, climbing the sand bank and sharing memories. I loved that I was able to capture some beautiful loving moments of Mark and his parents together, the emotion and love that was showing was moving.

The 'J' Family - Wollongong and Southern Highlands Family Photographer

On a hot summers day in Wollongong, just before Christmas, I met up with the 'J' family at Port Kembla Beach. 

It was a bit earlier in the day than what I normal shoot but that didn't stop us from having fun.
We played, ran around, ate sand, laughed and chatted about life. It turned out that their daughter was my daughter's buddy at school. Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family.
