Fuller Family - Wollongong Family Photographer

When your baby girl turns 1 you need to celebrate the momentous occasion with a family photography session.

That is exactly what the Fuller's did for their gorgeous and full of smiles daughter Sophie's 1st birthday. It was a beautiful winter's afternoon, I headed up to Narrabeen on the Nothern Beaches of NSW. When I arrived, I was instantly taken back by the beauty that surrounded me.

We met at Narrabeen beach, we played, chatted, laughed and sung wiggles songs. We then headed just down the road to Narrabeen lakes where they spend a lot of their time as a family, having picnics, walks and lazy Sundays. We watched the sunset over the lake and the sky lit up in a rich amber colour. It was the perfect way to end the day.

Thank you to the Fuller's for showing me your beautiful home town. See what they Fuller's had to say about their session here.

I am available for travel for family sessions, If you would like to have fun, relaxed and playful images on your walls of your family, please get in touch here, I would love to hear from you.

Canberra Adventure - Wollongong Family Photographer

In the April school holidays, we decided to go on an adventure to Canberra to celebrate a successful 1st term of kindergarten and have some quality family time.

We booked our hotel, jumped in the car and started our adventure. We arrived at the hotel and order pizza in for dinner, chilled on the bed and watched movies. The following morning the girls woke excited to go on an adventure and explore. We headed to Manuka Village and found Urban Panty where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

We then headed to Questacon, as you can see the girls were pretty excited. This was our first visit to Questacon, we had become members at Wollongong Science Centre and Planetarium which gave us entry into Questacon (and also something to do in the next school holidays). We thought we would be here a couple of hours, well, weren't we wrong. We ended up staying most of the day. It is so interactive for all ages and the girls really loved exploring the different exhibits.

After Questacon, we went for a drive and explored the areas around the lake (the girls slept the whole time). We ended up driving to the National Arboretum, Canberra where we were told about an awesome park, and yep! it's awesome. The Pod park is like nothing I have seen before, the girls ran off without hesitation to go and explore. This park is a MUST if you are ever in Canberra.

Day 3 was all about finding cool parks to play at. We headed over to Boundless Playground, we had a scooter ride along the lake and over to National Carillon where we listened to the beautiful chimes. We explored the parklands and playground but the girls just kept asking for one thing, "Can we go back to the Acorn park (Pod Park)?" How could we say no. So off we went before we headed home. This little getaway was just what the family needed, some time together, just chilling and exploring, refreshing ourselves and creating awesome memories. For those heading to Canberra anytime soon. I highly recommend Questacon and The Pod Park.

Spencer - Wollongong and Southern Highlands Newborn Photographer

This sweet Southern Highlands NSW in-home newborn session was so much fun. Not only were they celebrating having a new family member, it was also a birthday!

I love in-home newborn session as they are fun, relaxed and capture authentic moments of everyday life. I was honored when the M Family booked me to capture the new member of their family, Spencer. It was their youngest daughter's birthday as well and everyone was in a fun and loving mood. We played and laughed, cuddled and jumped, at freshly baked anzac cookies and of course had cake.

Thank you M Family for inviting me into you beautiful home to capture some speacial moments for you.

If you would like to know more about my in-home newborn session, I would love you hear from you.

The R Family - Wollongong Family Photographer

When my dear friend and fellow photographer Natalie from Nina Photography enquired with me about a family session I felt so honored and nervous and of course said YES!

After countless days/weeks of rain and many reschedules we finally got to hang out and have some fun. Nat, Aleks and their two gorgeous boys are a family that are full of love, laughter and craziness. The love and connection that they all share beams out of them. We were blessed with some fog on the horizon which made for an epic sunset.

Here is what Nat had to say. "Thank you for a fun time at our session and for our gorgeous images. I don't just love my photos. I adore, cherish and am in love with my photos. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you."

If you would like a relaxed, fun and enjoyable afernoon out with me and get some real, playful and moment filled images in the process, get in touch with me here.

Freya + Neave - Southern Highlands Newborn Photographer

I headed to the Southern Highlands to shoot an in-home lifestyle newborn session. You may remember Paris and Al's maternity session (you can see it here).

Freya and Neave decided that they didn't want to wait any longer and decided to come early. After a short stay in NICU, Paris and Al finally got to bring their precious girls home. I have to admit, watching Paris and Al with their baby girls bought back a lot of memories for me. It is hard to believe that my girls were that tiny to once. I really enjoyed watching Paris and Al be so calm and relaxed and taking everything in their stride.

I would love to capture this special time in your families life, please contact me here for more information.

C Family - Wollongong Family Photographer

A sweet family session on a summer's evening in Wollongong.

As a family photographer in the Illawarra, I am blessed to be able to use the stunning beaches we have. For the C family, this beach holds a special place in the heart. It is where they raise their children and spend many family moments together creating memories.

I loved capturing their family story in a playful and real way. You can see what they had to say about the session with me here.

If you would like to book a session I would love to hear from you.
