Port Kembla Beach, Wollongong maternity session by Wollongong Newborn PhotographerRead More
This gorgeous family was a belly full of laughter and fun. We headed to a beach here in Wollongong for their family session after they had travelled down from the Southern Highlands and let me say they had a BALL!
They cuddled, laughed, tickled, danced, chased each other around, the kids even said how much fun they had and they wanted to do it again! This is just a small selection of images from their session.
Here is what they had to say about their gallery
” Oh Jade! I don't even know what to say.
I cried, and I cried a bit more (happy tears of course) and my heart exploded with pride. You have captured our family so perfectly and these are such precious memories of this time in our lives.
Thank you so very much for your talent and for delivering our images so quickly. Now I have the excruciating task of narrowing down which images to print for our walls.”

When two become three….
Meet Macie, sweet baby girl to this amazing duo, Laura and Chad who you may remember from their maternity session, which you can see here. It was a dark and really overcast Autumn morning in Wollongong when I arrived at their home for their newborn session. I was greeted with big smiles and a home full of love and warmth. The joy of being parents and introducing me to their little girl was beaming from them. They say pregnant woman have a glow, well, I think new mums have an even more special glow.
Marcie was the sweetest little babe, she was so alert and interested in the world around her. It was so beautiful watching all the tender moments between them all. It truly is such an honour to be able to capture these moments for families. The moments that we often don’t see ourselves or remember.
Here is the response from Laura after viewing their gallery.
”Wow! Thank you so much for all the beautiful photos! We are soo happy with how they turned out. So many precious photos to look back on and beautiful memories!”
Thank you Laura + Chad for welcoming me into your lives, opening up and sharing a little bit of you all with me. This chapter of your story is so special and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to document it for you.
If you would like to capture moments like these, I would love to chat to you more.
Our life together has just begun. You’re apart of me, my little one.
Back at the start of the year, on a beautiful summers evening I met Laura and Chad at one of my favourite spots here in the Illawarra for their maternity session. Let’s just say it is one of my favourite maternity sessions. We walked, explored, laughed and danced and celebrated the pending arrival of their first precious baby. I am so humbled and honoured to be able to capture such a special moment in this chapter of their story.
Here is what Laura said about their maternity session and gallery
”Thank you so much!!! We love the gallery.
We had lots of fun doing the shoot and it was so much better then we expected.. as in not being awkward. We love how you prompted us and told us what to do. We definitely needed and appreciate this.”
Keep an eye out for the newborn session we did a couple of months later. Its just as divine!

A couple of months ago I was contacted by this awesome mum and dad to capture some family moments for them and tell part of their story. Funny thing was, without them even knowing, they both contacted me on the same night.
We met up at Stanwell Park beach in the Illawarra where there are these EPIC sandstone cliff faces which create such an amazing backdrop of colour and texture. It was requested that I focus on family images as they never get many together, and the parents together to help celebrate a milestone birthday, along with some other photos mixed in to help tell their story, but keep them candid and natural. I loved that they trusted me to do what I do and created a space for them to have moments of fun, connections and be themselves.
Even though it was a warm Autumn day, the rain threatened all day but it held off right till the end of our session and created the most beautiful defused light. We had so much fun playing, exploring and getting to know each other.
What the clients had to say:
As expected, they are fantastic, and you have captured us in a light that we can be proud of I had a tear in my eye. My wife cannot stop telling me how much she loves them. Thank you"
