Baby "W" - Wollongong Newborn Photographer

Meet Baby Wesley who is 3 weeks old. Alison and Xavier welcomed me into their home to photograph their precious new bundle of joy Wesley and their new family.

When I arrived, Wesley was feeding and Alison just glowing with love and pride as she provided for her little boy. We sat and chatted about our lives getting to know each other while I captured some little moments of everyday life.

Wesley has the most GORGEOUS Just want to squeeze cheeks I have ever seen. He loved been cuddled but not really kissed and just wanted to snuggle up with mum and dad and sleep. We also couldn't forget about capturing their fur baby and getting an all new family photo. I also love it when families include/have things in their session that have sentimental value. Wesley's stunning wicker bassinet was his father's and also his grandmother's bassinet! How special to be sleeping in the same bassinet your father and grandmother slept in as babies.

Thank you Alison, Xavier and Wesley for welcoming me into your beautiful home and sharing this story with me.

If you would like me to tell a part of your story, please get in touch here, I would love to chat with you.

Hayley Maternity - Shellharbour Newborn Photographer

When your home is full of love and laughter your life is full. Life is all about moments and as a lifestyle photographer here in the Illawarra I love capturing those moments so that they last forever. Having your maternity session in your family home is something that I wish more people did.

Meet the Crowther family who I am lucky enought to say are some of my dearest friends. When I found out Hayley was expecting their next bubba I was beyond excited and happy for them. When you walk into their AMAZING dream home you are instantly hit with a welcoming feeling in the air, that kind that makes you want to take you shoes off, put your feet up and enjoy a cuppa with friends. Noah and Eloise are characters and super excited to meet their little brother or sister. I can just see the Eloise is going to be a mother hen and a massive help to Hayley.

Thank you for allowing me to capture your pregnancy in your family home, I cannot wait to get cuddles.

Warmly
Jade x

Life is full, it has so many up's and down's, but bringing a new baby into the world is definitely one of those up's. It is a new chapter in your family story, it is beautiful, surreal, challenging and simply amazing.

There are so many emotions when you are planning or find out you are pregnant, excitement, sheer terror, doubt, confidence, excitement again...it's a rollercoaster, just like life. You start asking yourself, Are we ready? Is now the right time? Can we afford this? Will we be able to give our child the best life? Will I be a good Mum or Dad? Nothing can prepare you for welcoming your first child into your lives, but I can promise you, you will never feel love like you do when you have a child, you will wonder why life felt so full before you had a baby (and what you did with all your time) and you will never, ever regret it.

The Rogers family, you may remember from their maternity session a little while back, you can see that here. They welcomed baby Olivia into the world in late May and we did her Newborn session when she was 3 weeks old and she was a pure joy. Elise and Matt are so cool and calm and absolutely smitten with their precious baby girl. We relaxed around their home, shared stories about birth, childhood, parenthood and giggled at the little facials and sounds Olivia was giving us. It was a true honour and pleasure to witness and capture this new chapter for this gorgeous little family.

If you are having a baby soon, I would love to chat to you about capturing this very special time. You can contact me here

Rogers Maternity - Shellharbour Maternity and Newborn Photographer

When Elise and Matt first contacted me to capture their maternity and newborn photos, I instantly knew it was going to be fun.

Elise and Matt decided on Killalea State Park or as us locals know it "The Farm" at Shellharbour for their session. They often enjoy picnic lunch and dinner dates here and felt it was apart of who they are as a couple and now a family.  I loved hearing how they met, about their first, second and third dates and who they would be if they were super heroes. We also had some laughs with some of the answers!

Thank you Elise and Matt for a fun afternoon, stay tuned for their newborn images! Special thanks to Paris and Al for the referral, I seriously appreciate the support.
If you would love to capture some memories for you, chat to me here.

Sibling fun - Southern Highlands Family Photographer

They fight, they squabble, they laugh, they love, they are siblings.

Justine contacted me to capture these two gorgeous kiddos playing and having fun together, as brother and sisters do (when they are not fighting). One day they will be older and arguing over who's turn it is to empty the dishwasher, cook dinner or take the car. We headed to their family property on the outskirts of Mittagong, NSW where they will one day soon build their dream home. I loved that they chose here for their family session, as it will always hold a special place in the family and it shows what their property looked like before the brick and mortar. I believe in creating a space for little ones to be their cheeky selves, where they can be silly, have fun and well, be kids. This is what documenting childhood is all about, capturing them, being them, being kids.

I believe all families should have tangible memories printed and filling photo albums and walls. If you believe this to, I would love to chat to you more about how we can make that happen. Get in touch here
