Personal Post // IT STARTED AT A DANCE PARTY

March 16, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

It was the night of the Wollongong Town Hall Under 18's dance party, I had finished work for the day, had gotten ready with my bestie Dee and we headed out for a night of dancing. Dancing away, I seen this guy that looked pretty cute, My girlfriend Dee went and asked if he and his friends wants to come over and dance with us, because you know that's what you do when you sweet 16. His response was that if we wanted to dance with them then we could go to them...So we did! That was 16 years ago today, the day I met my husband. I moved in with him and his parents a short time later, being bought up very independent and having a Mum who worked long hours in Sydney it seemed like the right thing to do, and it was! Fast forward 9 years and it is our wedding day! Yep we got married on St Patricks day and it rained cats and dogs....talk about luck on your wedding day, we hit the jackpot! Everyone was running around stressed and panicked about the rain, I was calm and at peace, I didn't care, I just wanted to marry the man that I loved and wanted to spend forever with. There is something to be said about that calm feeling that comes over you on your wedding day, I just knew everything was perfect and the universe was looking after us.

Pablo, you are my soul mate, my best friend and my rock! I could not imagine my life without you in it. Together we have created a life I am proud of and so happy in. We have two beautiful girls who are such a blessing. We have each other, our families and friends and  we have life! Something that we have both learnt never to take for granted. We have been through so many tough time together. You cared for me when I was pregnant and so sick I couldn't stand or move, you supported me through the tough times or raising our girls and you were my rock when Cancer struck and rocked our world. You are stronger then you know! The girls and I are so blessed to have you and call you ours. No matter what the future holds for us, we will make it through, as long as we have each other. I love you, Now, always and forever.

Special thanks to Adam from Cavanagh Photography for the image. This is from our maternity session.
