It had been raining all week but Emily and Stephen's preyers were answered when the sun came shining through, and boy it was a hot one!
Stephen and Emily met in school, go to the same church and lets just say that Stephen had is work cut out for him courting Emily, which continued through to the engagement. Stephen had designed the ring, had it made and have all the plans set. Emily, not knowing a thing, was telling him all about these extraordinary gesture engagements (that she has read in an article) this sending Stephen into a tail spin. He planned again and they set off to Gerroa for a day of bush walking and beach swims. Stephen tried a number of times to go back to the car to get what he needed to propose, Emily had different plans, eventually he was able to ask his best friend to marry him, and eventually she said yes and the rest is history.
Stephen and Emily had a lunch time wedding at Black Beach reserve, Kiama. There wedding was simplistic and elegant and full of colour. Stephen and Emily's parents hosted a afternoon tea for their guests to mingle while group portraits took place. As we headed off for our formal photos later in the afternoon, the storm clouds started to roll over and the rain started to fall so we had to take shelter. So we headed to the Great Australian Ice Creamery, Kiama, got some rainbow ice cream and waited the rain out and then finished the day off with some gorgeous light.
Congratulations Stephen and Emily x
